The first video is a great Global Activity.   It wont work for upper grades, but it may generate some good ideas.  The last two are videos are a long and short version of the same video with some very interesting facts about the make up of the world. 

Our Mission: It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.

Announcements:

The Teacher Notification of Intent web site is now ready.  The link is available to teachers via the “Employees” link of the WS/FCS home page.  

 All full-time teachers need to complete an intent form (we have a different process for part-time teachers – see below).  The deadline is March 28^th. Principals can track the status of their teacher's intent form completion by using the same link.  

Please close all blinds, close and secure all window and doors, and turn off all nonessential electronic equipment before you leave the building on Friday.  This will help us conserve energy over the break.

We are extending the AR 3rd quarter deadline to Friday, April 11 - the Friday after we get back from break

The Field Day Scheduled for Friday has been postponed.  We will reschedule the event for late April.
